Parking is free & available in the vicinity of the Physics Building on UMBC Campus.

Free- Jose Cueto in Concert

Violinist José Miguel Cueto has over 40 years experience leading orchestras in the United States and abroad. His multi-talented skills as concertmaster, soloist, and chamber musician make him a much sought after artist. Deeply committed to the process of education, Mr. Cueto shares his expertise as violin teacher, chamber ensemble/orchestra coach, and lecturer in studio and master class settings.
The program at Bishop Cummins will include Bach, Ysaye, Kreisler, Paganini and Piazzolla. Mr. Cueto will be using a different bow for each piece of music for the audience’s enjoyment of hearing how each bow impacts the beauty of the violin’s tone.

An Evening of Comedy

An Evening of Comedy will feature the talents of Jen Wardrop and Roger Mursick. Happy Hour begins at 6:30, appetizers, cash bar and music by JET a jazz trio whose members are all students at UMBC. All proceeds benefit Katie’s Bridge to Independence a 501.3.c dedicated to helping young adults affected by neuromuscular disease live more independently.

Coming up on Friday, November 2 (6-8:30PM) and Saturday, November 3 (10AM-3PM) at the Bel Air Armory, we invite you to our 10th installment of Hope in Handbags, our silent purse auction and retail sale!

Presented by Saxon’s Diamond Centers, bargain hunters and handbag enthusiasts alike are invited to bid on new designer bags stuffed with goodies and shop a selection of never-used or gently used bags being sold for a fraction of their retail price. For the best selection, plan to attend the Exclusive Preview Night on Friday, November 2. For just $10, you can enjoy refreshments, music and other activities provided by local vendors, assisted by some of Harford County’s finest personal shoppers!

Proscenium Theatre

The Department of Dance presents the annual Fall Dance Showcase. Students perform works by faculty, students and visiting artists, and the senior dance majors present their capstone choreographic projects. A different program each night features elaborate and exciting movement that explores the past, present, and future of human experience.

Tickets: $12 general admission, $7 students and seniors. Available online and at the box office one hour prior to showtime. (Tickets available fall 2018.)
