MD Dept of Labor has $7M to support small businesses and workers to adjust to current crisis- ex: for telework, liability insurance, sanitizing, supplemental labor costs. For workers who are laid off: File a claim immediately. No wait period. Benefits back paid. Expanded eligibility. No search for work requirements.

MD Department of Commerce Disaster relief for small businesses through SBA.

Two new Emergency Funds:

1. MD Small Biz Covid-19 GRANT fund 50 or less employees (including some funds for non-profit communities). Operational funds.

2. LOAN- zero interest loans up to 50k for 50 or fewer employees- operational funds. Operational: Payroll, rent, utilities, etc.

State is asking for businesses who have resources to sell them to MD.
